Private by design

100% on-device. Nothing leaves your Mac.

Replay was built local-first. Your meetings are some of the most sensitive data you have, so they stay on your machine, full stop.

On-device transcription

Transcription and speaker separation run locally on Apple silicon. Your audio never touches a server.

No cloud, no account

There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to upload. Replay works fully offline.

You own the files

Every meeting is saved as plain video, JSON, and Markdown you can read, search, and back up yourself.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Does my audio go to the cloud?

No. Recording, transcription, and speaker separation all happen on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account to create.

Which meeting apps does it support?

All of them. Replay captures your screen and system audio, so any call that plays through your Mac works: Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex, Slack, Discord, FaceTime, and more.

Does it work for in-person meetings?

Yes. A mic-only mode records conversations that never go through a meeting app, so your in-person discussions become searchable too.

What do I need to run it?

A Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 14 or later. Replay uses the Neural Engine for fast, private on-device transcription.

Is it a subscription?

No. Replay is a one-time purchase with a perpetual license for the current major version. Buy it once and keep using it.

Where are my recordings stored?

Locally, in a predictable folder as standard files. You can open, grep, export, or hand them to any AI tool. No lock-in.
